Fundraising Efforts

The Pekin Community Betterment Organization, Inc. will begin a new fundraiser this is - the Safari Bike Ride. This event has been hosted in the past by the Pekin Lions Club. When the decision was made by the Lions to no longer host this event, the PCBO was happy to pick up the reins! The PCBO  publishes a Fourth of July Program Book, which is passed out to community members a week prior to the celebration and to visitors during the celebration. The book consists of ads placed by businesses and individuals in the Pekin and surrounding area. Complete with a schedule of events for the celebration, pictures of Prince, Princess and Queen Candidates, and previous winners of these events and the annual 3 on 3 Tournament, these programs books of been collected by generation after generation.
